Principles of hygiene - free online course
A free 30 minute online course that explains good hygiene practices necessary to support Kauri health.
Kauri are threatened by a soil-borne pathogen called Phytophthora agathidicida (PA for short), which causes the fatal condition known as kauri dieback disease.
The Department of Conservation have developed a free 30 minute online course that covers the principles, procedures, systems and tools in place to help you understand what good hygiene practices are to support the health of Kauri.
Who should do this online course?
This free online course is designed for anyone working in or around Kauri forests, including volunteers, contractors and community groups. The course takes about 30 minutes to complete.
