Objectives
To look at the role historical forestry operations play in the spread of kauri dieback in the Whangapoua region.
Outcomes
Results outline the risk profiles associated with forestry operations. It is likely the disease was introduced to the area through activities associated with the development of the Whangapoua State Forest, but there is no evidence of that introduction, just the geographic association of the disease with forestry development and operations.
